This recipe is not only delicious, but it’s also easy to make. With just a few simple steps, you can have a batch of warm, gooey, and perfectly chewy cookies in no time. Since we use oat flour the recipe is gluten free too. But if you are celiac make sure you use oats that are marked as gluten free by the manufacturer. Even-though oats is gluten free by nature, they are often produced in the same environment as wheat.

What you need
To start, you’ll need to gather your ingredients. You’ll need Naturli vegan block, brown cane sugar, white sugar, almond milk, vanilla extract, whole oat flour, baking soda, dark chocolate chips (vegan), and a pinch of Maldon sea salt.
Once you have all of your ingredients, it’s time to start baking!
Step-by-step
- Begin by preheating your oven to 175°C and lining a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the Naturli vegan block and both sugars until light and fluffy. You can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer for this step.
- Next, add the almond milk and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until well combined. Sift in the whole oat flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix until the dough comes together. Add the dark chocolate chips and fold them into the dough until evenly distributed.
- Use a cookie scoop or spoon to drop even-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking tray, leaving some space between them. Bake the cookies for about 14 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
- Remove the baking tray from the oven and let the cookies cool for a few minutes before transferring them onto a wire rack to cool completely. Once the cookies are cooled, sprinkle them with Maldon sea salt for an extra burst of flavour.
These vegan chocolate chip cookies are perfect for anyone looking for a sweet treat that’s not only delicious but also vegan-friendly. They’re perfect for parties, afternoon tea, or even just a mid-day snack. Plus, they’re easy to make and can be whipped up in no time.
